Heavy painted sheet metal panels (9½"x12¼") with holes drilled in the numbers were used in pairs at each end of Los Angeles Railway Streetcars to indicate their route to passengers. At night a lightbulb in the box behind the slides shown through the holes.
These are authentic street car indicator slides taken off the trolly when service ended May 5, 1955. The slides are chipped, rusty and slightly bent. Paint is Dark Green with creme lettering. Backsides are just unpainted and rusty. Only $9.95 |
